Jackie Clay-Robertson is a nonprofit leader and strategic consultant with more than two decades of experience across the nonprofit, healthcare, and government sectors. Having served as a CEO and Executive Director of multiple nonprofit organizations, she brings deep, real-world leadership experience in building, managing, and growing mission-driven organizations.
Jackie is a community advocate who helps nonprofits, churches, and mission-driven organizations build sustainable systems, secure funding, and expand their impact. She specializes in strategic planning, grant development, organizational design, governance, and nonprofit startup support—guiding organizations from vision to structure to long-term sustainability.
Throughout her career, Jackie has partnered with dozens of organizations to strengthen infrastructure, align strategy with mission, and position leaders for growth. She has supported the launch of multiple nonprofit startups and contributed to securing millions of dollars in awarded grant funding.
Jackie is also the author of 7 Steps to Mastering Grant Writing: A Comprehensive Guide, a practical framework designed to help organizations secure funding, strengthen funder relationships, and build long-term sustainability. In addition to her consulting work, she has led grant writing workshops and trainings, equipping leaders with the tools and strategies needed to successfully pursue funding opportunities.
Her experience extends to board development and governance, having both consulted with and served on boards of directors in leadership roles, including President and Vice President. Through this work, she has provided strategic guidance on organizational growth, leadership structure, and effective oversight.
